- Curtis is a new artist who specializes in segmented turnings. His segmented pieces use both domestic and exotic woods in their natural state, meaning no dyes are used to create the colored patterns. He also turns solid wood forms and adds artistic interest with carving, texturing and dyes to create his unique effects.
